the solid pink is embossed cardstock and the printed swirly paper is scrapbook paper strips glued on top of the solid paper. Is that what you are asking?

Thanks, Sue - that's just what I meant. It looks like 1 cardstock to me and I didn't see that you pieced it together. I really like that look.

Did you adhere the scrapbook paper to the cardstock before or after you embossed it? In addition, what type of glue is best if you want to attach a layer of paper or cardstock to another layer of cardstock and then run through an embossing folder. Thank you!! Denise

On this card, I embossed the folder first and then added the scrapbook paper. I use Mono adhesive tape runner or Scor-it tape or sook wang 1/8" tape in a roll. it is very very sticky and it stays put nicely.
