sizzix & cuttlebug small embossing folders

Postby jonnytar » August 16th, 2011, 2:18 pm

What sandwich set do I use to emboss with the smaller sizzix or small cuttlebug folders. I mean the real small ones (around 2" or so - not sure of the measurement). I tried the rubber from ACE but that doesn't work and I end up with marks around the outside of my embossing. Doesn't make for a very nice looking card.

The red rubber has to be smaller than the folder so that the edge of the rubber does not press onto the side of the folder, causing the marks.

this shows a larger piece of rubber, but the concept is the same. The red rubber gasket also takes the place of one of the B plates, so do not use 2 B plates. If you need to add a cardstock shim layer to make the impression a little deeper, add that to the top of the stack.
