I was looking through your card gallery to see what colors you use for reds. For your Christmas stamps, it looks like you use R29 and R39 alot.

I am using the Cheery Lynn Sweetheart die and putting a Santa image in it. (The Cheery Lynn Sweetheart die is really gorgeous.) When you use the R29 and R39, are you putting down the darker spots first and then going back and blending over it with R29? Hopefully a store in this area is going to offer a copic class after Christmas and I plan to take it. If you can give me a general idea on the simplest way of using reds to color Santa I would be appreciate it. (Reds don't seem to work like the other colors.)Thanks.

Generally, I base color light first and then do the shading. Then go back with the lighter shade and blend the two together. If you need a deeper shade, add that last and reblend with the first one.

R24-R27-R29-R46-R39 are all good.
lightest to darkest
Reds are always trouble! LOL
