Coluzzle

Coluzzle

Postby Corrine » September 12th, 2012, 6:40 pm

Just wondering if anyone knows of a solution for the cutting mat for the coluzzle. I have a good stash of coluzzle templates that both my daughter and I would love to be able to use but I have worn out my mat and Provocraft no longer produces or sells them and has no suggestions for alternatives. I love all the new toys that have come out since coluzzle days, but I really wish they wouldn't totally eliminate the ability to use the 'old stuff" !

Have you tried Googling the problem? I have never used them and am clueless.

Maybe someone can help.

Thanks Sue! Google has been rather un-helpful, sadly. Anyone else out there have a solution?

I have a Coluzzle Starter Kit, but don’t want to part with it. Right now on eBay, there are at least two listings that have the cutting mat for sale. So far, the listings are going pretty inexpensively. On eBay, I just searched for Coluzzle. Two Peas in a Bucket also has a Forum where you can advertise for a craft item you would like to purchase.

Hi Corinne
My friend bought her mats from Walmart when she visited the States on vacation.

Thanks Margaret! Just recently? They certainly don't have them here in Canada.. I wonder if I can convince a friend to do some hunting for me....

I remember when the Coluzzles first came out... still use mine every once in awhile! I think the cutting mat is just like the thick packing material you can get to ship packages. Hopefully you have a place in your town that ships packages for people and you can get some pieces there.

Thanks! I have tried some of that packaging material, but I don't think that the stuff I used was thick enough. Never thought to look at a store that sells packaging, silly me! If you still have your coluzzle mat, could you tell me how thick it is?

Hi Corrine, not sure if you would want to purchase from Oz, but http://www.scrapdragon.com.au have the Coluzzle Easy Glide Cutting mat x 2 for $8.99. Maybe by now you have found some? I know one of our craft stores sell Coluzzle, they may have the mats, could check that out for you. Good luck. Celia
