Wording on cards #6155 and 6164

Wording on cards #6155 and 6164

How do you get the wording exactly where you want it?

Also, Thanks, Deb for the CB folder info.

6155 is a clear word stamp so that is easy.
6164 IS printed wording. I used MS word, typed the font and words I wanted, positioned the words on the left side and printed a test sheet first. I then laid the open folder on the sheet of paper to see if they aligned properly, made corrections and then after printing onto cardstock, laid the open folder so that the wording is just where I wanted, traced the folder onto the cardstock and cut the paper on the lines. Then when you lay the cut paper inside the folder, they should align and emboss properly. Be sure to pencil in all 4 sides of the folder. And yes, there is some paper waste but I always save my scraps for other uses.

Sue I'm confused about your instructions for 6164. What are you speaking of when you refer to the "folder". I understand about positioning on the paper to get it to be in right location on the cardstock. But that's when I lose it. Are we printing the wording directly on the cardstock with a printer or are we somehow transferring that lettering by another means. And I'm lost about what we are cutting out. So sorry to be a doofus...Denise

Well ignore that entire last post. I am a doofus because if I had read a few more posts I would have realized it was the embossing folder and then everything made sense about drawing lines and cutting paper and lining it all up. Maybe I need to go to bed and start on reading posts again tomorrow. LOL...
