Card Posted Thumbnail Description
#2257 07/13/05 Card #2257 This is a new frame size I found at Michael's that measures 4" x 11.5". It retails for 2.99

Here is how to make those small calendars. I have been using Red Castle Sofware and finally figured out how to shrink one so 12 months fits on a smaller piece of paper. The secret is to size each individual month and not the overall calendar size. That was my mistake and I didnt think I could make them that small.

Here is what I did for a 3" x 4" 12 month calendar on card #2257

Calendar from Red Castle Software.

Click on "Click Here" and it will take you to the program which you must download.

Month size in inches should be .937" x .937"

Year per page (Be sure to choose 2005)

FONT selection should be MS San Serif Regular

Size 7

Thin Box (Frame)

I used a smaller post-it note this time (2"x2") and a stamped image from Darcie that I colored with Twinkling H2O's. Cheapie alphabet beads for the wording and Earring Hoops for the rings.

This larger size frame would be adorable with family photos in them along with a calendar and would be very useful for an entire year's worth of calendar keeping.

Sorry the pic is smaller than usual. The dimensions of the jpg. format is set at a certain width proportional to length. If you want a larger pic emailed, just post.
#2256 07/09/05 Card #2256 A variation on card #2246. Same embossed image but I used a calendar insert this time and changed the bead ring.

Another idea for gift giving.

Calendar from Red Castle Software.

#2252 06/30/05 Card #2252 This one requires no stamping, embossing or coloring.

Dragonfly sticker is from Paper Bliss. Beads are glued onto the frame with Aleene's Tacky Glue.
#2251 06/30/05 Card #2251 4"x6" acrylic photo frame.

Baseball post it notes
I used Rat-a-Tat Sizzlits Alphabet for the lettering.

Brown leather lacing for the tie.
#2250 06/30/05 Card #2250 I made the flag using white cardstock for the base and torn red pindot paper for the stripes. I used scrap paper left over from making the box for the field of "stars". Sizzlet hearts.

Ask for the pattern for the box note holder, via the message board, and I will send a scan.
#2249 06/29/05 Card #2249 This frame measures 6"x4" and has a horizontal orientation.

Paper purchased from Hobby Lobby.
Daisy stamp and leaf from Imaginations.

I made the box to hold the loose notes and if you want the pattern, just post on the msg bpard and I can send it. The notes inside are loose printed paper notes I found at Party America and I designed the frame around that daisy paper. You can also cut your own notes to fit.

I colored the daisy and leaf with Twinkling H2O's.
#2248 06/27/05 Card #2248 I made my own box to hold loose notes for acrylic frame note holder. This one measures 4"x6".

If you want the pattern, post on the message board and I can send a scan.

The apple stencil is from Lasting Impressions and I used Bazzil paper.

Printed school paper is from Provo Craft at Michael's.

I got the loose notes from Party America and fashioned the design around the note paper. You can also make your own notes (stamp them) to coordinate.
#2247 06/23/05 Card #2247 4" x 6" acrylic bent picture frame used as a post-it note holder.

Pre-embossed seashell paper.
Stencil is from Lasting Impressions.
Used the Wizard for the embossing.

Gold shiny paper is from Marco Paper.

"Just a note" is one of the tiny clear impression sets from Stampendous.
#2246 06/23/05 Card #2246 This is a post-it note holder using an acrylic frame. I will be teaching this at the Novi Convention for Marco Paper in the Make It Take It Class Saturday Night.

It is a 4"x6" bent acrylic frame, scrapbook papers, embossing stencil from Spellbinders, and I used the new improved Wizard........(NICE!).

"Just a note" is one of the tiny clear impression sets from Stampendous.

The colors are Twinkling H2O paints. The wire circle is a wine glasss charm ring using cheapie alphabet beads. The possibilities are endless for design.

More to come........

The original idea was found at Splitcoast Stampers.
