9 square box. Cut paper at 7.5" square. Score at 2.5 and 5" on 2 sides to create a 9 square grid. Will work on any size square. Just make sure the measurements are equally divided by 3.

Here is a cutting tutorial for the basket. I brought the sides all the way up on mine and glued in place.

Halloween Version of the Candy Man

Cut 2-3 3/4" black circles and 2-3 3/4"orange circles. Staple the candy tubes to one of the black circles for the arms and legs. Punch the face on one of the orange circles. Emboss both orange circles with polka dots folder. I used 1/8" glue tape to adhere the plain black circle to the back of the punched orange circle, then attached the black circle (with the arms and legs) to the back of the plain black circle. The plain black circle gives the thing strength and hides the staples. Lastly, attach the unpunched orange circle to the back. I got the orange and black chocolate candies at Meijer. They are plain with no markings and come in several colors.

Cuttlebug:

  • Polka Dots 5" x 7" folder

EK Success:

Candy Mail Box: Use scrapbook paper.

Cut a cardstock base 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" large enough for 2 mini PB cups on a slide-out card base. Cut a piece of paper 2 1/2" x 5 1/8" to wrap the candy and create the top portion of the mailbox. Tape together but do not tape to the slide out piece. Cut a strip 1 1/4" wide by 5" long for the piece that come up on the ends. Round the ends and glue on the bottom of the mail box top piece, so that the candy can slide in and out of the box. Staple a ribbon tab on the end of the pull out piece and cover it with candy. Make a flag and attach to the side.

Silly little Acetate  Box measures 2 1/4" x 3 3/4" filled with marshmallows, but white lifesavers or any white candy would work. I am going to make more.....with bats, pumpkins, etc. Easy and fun. Cute little witch hat candy treat. Original idea is from Tnkerbele on SCS.

Cut a 3 1/2" circle for the top. Cut the circle in half and form a cone. Glue together. Cut a 2" scalloped circle for the base. Decorate the hat base with a thin strip of paper (too fussy) or glitter glue.

You can make the hat portion a little larger to house a mini reese's pb cup or something smaller. I used a Hershey's kiss.

Peek-a-Boo! Haunted House Candy Treat- Finished size is 5.5" wide by 7" high including the moon....Cut the purple paper 5.5" x 8.5" Punch the fence along the one 5.5"end to form the bottom of the Holder. ...Determine how high you want the fence area and score the first line. Mine is 2" finished. The next score line is 5/8" from the first to create a flat area for the acetate candy tube to fit. Cut  black fence piece and glue to the purple part....Trim as needed...The back part of the candy holder can be longer or shorter, depending on your needs, so adjust if you wish. I used the entire1/2 sheet piece of paper... Die cut the haunted house in black and then trace around the die cut on yellow orange paper to create the window portions. Cut that by hand and glue to the back of the house die cut. Trim as needed so no yellow paper shows. I used prismacolor markers to add shadow to the windows. The moon is a 3" circle and the stamp is a cheapie .99 one from Studio G. Arnie's has a few left, but any wording would work here. Add 3mm black pearls to the bats and do some faces on the ghosts....The acetate bag is #65127 B 1" x 8" bag. Holds M & M's...Next time I may cuttlebug the purple background piece with swiss dots...That would add more interest to the purple paper.
