Colored using Marvy Markers and Blender Pen (to lighten the color). Pick up the color from the marker onto the tip of the blender pen.

#2215	06/29/04	Dry Embossed		I know this one is super simple but I used glossy cardstock to emboss the design this time and it REALLY shows up well! For those who love the white on white look, this is a neat way to emboss and not lose any detail or have to re-emboss the tiny details by hand. The glossy paper seems to be a bit more receptive to the smaller template design elements and stands out nicely because it is glossy. Blue plaid lines, dots and lines are hand drawn with Marvy Marker then white chalk is applied over the top to tone down the color.

I used a flower stamen for the antennae and colored the ends black with a sharpie pen. They can be found in the floral dept. of the craft stores. Ladybug Stamp is an old one from Azadi. Inside is the verse: Little ladybug Quietly she goes Down the garden way Lightly on her toes. She greets each garden friend And shares her revery Telling all her tales To every honey bee. So listen as you walk You'll hear her everywhere. All her garden stories And the secrets she will share. Don't remember the source of the poem.
