STEP 3

Apply the shading color, Bruynzeel 870, to the areas as shown. The most important thing you need to remember is to not cover up your base coloring with your shading color. Always start with a small amount of color and add more if needed. You can erase the excess sometimes but some of the colors are quite intense and they do not erase well.

The cheek color is applied to the face with a Q tip and pink palette chalk. If you have a pink chalk pencil, do not apply the color for the cheeks directly to the cardstock as it will leave a line. Instead scribble some color onto a scrap of paper and pick it up with the Q tip and apply with that.
