#2848 * Wedding / Anniversary * Gallery

This is an A2 (4.25" x 5.5") gatefold card. Make score lines on a full sheet of paper, at 2.75" on EACH side of the full sheet. Fold those in so the sides meet in the midddle (gatefold). Then cut in half so that you have TWO A2 sized gate fold cards (as shown)

The card base is white. The Birds and Swirls Cuttlebug Embossing Folder is embossed on cream Stardream 100 lb cardstock (www.marcopaper.com). Before cutting and gluing this layer to the white folded card, run a piece of ribbon around the back of the card and then underneath the stardream layer so that it ties in the front with those layers glued over the top.


The hearts are embossed on Candlelight Beckett Expression or any ivory cardstock, punched and then layered onto a white cut out that I enlarged slightly, traced and added to the back of the candlelight hearts. Hand write the names, date and saying on the hearts.

Hero Arts flat backed adhesive pearls are attached to the heart cut outs.

Tie the card closed. (Be sure to leave enough ribbon length to make a nice bow. Mine is a tab bit short.

The scan does not show the paper color that well. The card body is white, the panels are a pearlized cream, the hearts are a flat smooth cream paper and the matte heart layers are white. With the little pearls, it is a nice white on white elegant look.
