Cuttlebug Embossing Folders: Birds and Swirls Swiss Dot Scor-Pal I have always loved the white on white embossed look. Hallmark used to have the market on those beauties, but now WE DO! And I love personalized stationery so, now I can do both. Set up an A2 format on your computer so that you can print your name for 4 card fronts at once. I fiddled with mine and had to do a couple of test prints. Select your font and color. I ran out of colored ink, so I used black. Print out the set up onto white or ivory cardstock, or any other color you want! Cut the cardstock into 4 pieces. Mark on the back of the printed CS, a pencil line above and below your printing, so that when you score, you do not score over the printed word. (Been there, done that-TWICE LOL). Score as many lines as you want above and below the name or words you have printed. On this sample, I used Birds and Swirls folder to emboss the top portion of the layer. Then the swiss dots for the bottom. Also note that some of the designs are one way patterns (birds and swirls)and cannot be used in reverse or upside down like you can the swiss dot. If you print your name on the top of the sheet, then you must keep in mind that the folders open at the top only and some of the designs will not work because they will be upside down... Anyway, this could be fun and using different words, colors and fonts could be a nice way to send or make a personalized card or gift.
