Cheery Lynn- If you order any of these very intricate dies, I would highly recommend the CuttleHug metal plate (5"x7" is best) to use with them. It is a metal shim that provides a flat smooth surface that will allow perfect cutting of these beautiful dies! Rub wax paper over the die, use removeable tape on the paper/die ot secure it first, then use A, B, CuttleHug, Die, Paper, C.... Cut, then Rotate 90 degrees and run it thru again. Pick up the cut shape inside the die and tap it firmly into a garbage can. Most or all of the excess pieces will fall out of the die and the rest will come out easily with a straight pin or pick.
