#2593 The fundamentals of shading always consist of a light base color, a medium shading color and then areas of darker shading and sometimes highlights. You can also use the paper color to create the lightest shade. Look carefully at commercial items that are colored. You will notice all three shades of color are used to create depth in an item. Choose a color and apply it LIGHTLY, with the side of the pencil, to the areas you wish. In this case it is a light brown for the bunny fur, creating the base color. Then add Flesh to the face, inside the ears, the tummy, and the bottom of the feet. | Please visit these wonderful sponsors if you are considering purchases using products from my gallery: Marco's Paper |
