#7705

A7 Easel Card- Cut the paper 5 1/2" x 10" and score at 2 1/2 and 5" to create the easel feature.

Die Versions: These dies were initially meant to cut wording across the top or side of the card, keeping the wording attached to the card itself, not cut out completely, so.....I decided to cut off the metal parts to the left and right sides of the wording to create the same type of die as the Elizabeth Crafts Stand Up Helper. I just made my own! It was super easy to do and I secured the die to the paper with Removeable Tape to keep it in place for cutting. Birthday is placed 2 1/8" from the bottom edge and HAPPY is placed 1" from the bottom edge.

I cut both at the same time, on white paper, and then colored the HAPPY with Copic Markers. Assemble the rest of the card and add the stamped, cut out image to the top of the card. The BIRTHDAY die cut stops the easel from falling forward and when you want to mail it, just lay down the wording and pop it into the envelope.
