A2 Cut the paper at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Score at 2 1/8" and 6 1/2". Fold toward the center and the flaps will be wide enough to cut the butterfly halves. You can also make the card shorter- more square in shape. It looks like the sample on the sellers site has a separate butterfly cut and glued to the top.

I embossed the top portion and bottom portion of the white single layer card with that swirly folder and left a middle section plain. I added a white diecut happy birthday in that area. You could easily make a folded card there.
