A6- I cut the square die shape first onto the white cardstock, then positioned the embossing folder around the die cut opening, traced the edge of the folder onto the paper and cut the paper out so it will fit into the folder for embossing. That guarantees perfect placement of the die cut opening. The stamped image is on a separate piece of paper and then I separately stamped, colored and cut the wings out and glued them in place.
